Your photo file size must 1MB maximum. You got no error message while submitting larger files but the pictures will go into invisible blackhole and eaten by a mysterious digital monster somewhere in this forum.
I personally never trust salesman advice about bonsai unless he is working at bonsai nursery where there exist some old tree styled into bonsai. I will either read forum/guide sites or ask bonsai experienced person. Both cases I will try it myself or experimenting with less valuable plants of the same species. The first step into bonsai is to understand normal plants needs and care, only then on higher level after you learn various things you will go into keeping bonsai in good condition and shape, the maintenance.
I was thinking that I know a little bit of bonsai when actually I never reach even the surface of bonsai knowledge and skills. Now I am focusing more into fundamental horticulture learning while gaining knowledge slowly about bonsai.
