I was recently gifted a plant that was only identified as a 'ficus bonsai,' but I'm not sure that this is an actual bonsai (maybe it's a mallsai?). Is anyone on here able to help identify this plant? Thanks!

I would not even call it a mallsai. It is a house plant. Take care as it is to keep it as healthy as possible

Thanks, that was my suspicion but a confirmation is helpful. I have never owned a bonsai myself and have been trying to figure out what this thing is for the past few days!
