I live in arizona which is very hot and Ive been looking for some new bonsai material that will do good in the desert, if anyone knows of any let me know

you can try some acacia trees (African trees) there is a large variety that will do well in the heat. also boabab trees, maybe try a Jade tree

look for trees that are native to your area, its just a quick google search away. im in Southern Cali where it can reach 105*F+ for example a few trees that do well for me here are Crepe Myrtle (Lagerstroemia), Junipers and Bougainvillea.
