I made a Juniper form a nursery plant about 8 month ago. It's been growing well for a while, lately i had a stressful 2 month and didn't take full care of the tree. The leaves are turning yellow. I've been taking more care of it now for the past week but there was little difference. Is it because of the exposed roots?

I bet it already was a juniper.
Junipers dropping old leaves is normal.

It might just be the way it is wired.

This:
The plant looks perfectly fine. If it is only needles on the inside (So old needles) this is normal, and it happens in one go All the needles turn yellow together. If you see sections turning yellow and the rest not, and or full branches it is something else.

Pun intended? Clever as indeed it is the way Junipers are wired (they shed old leaves).

I'll post a picture soon, I have two Juniper bonsais and this one is becoming overall noticeably yellower than the other, I'll try to upload a picture in a different lighting soon. Thank you all for the reply, I do hope it is actually fine. Just strange that the entire tree is significantly yellower than the other one.

how does wiring cause the tree to shed leaves? blocking the sunlight at some parts?
