Anyone have an idea of what species of tree this might be? I bought it from a botanical center but there was no name in the attached documentation.
I have it currently in indirect sunlight, seems to like a fair amount of water. However a couple of weeks ago was gone for a long weekend and it got pretty dry, has not been a happy camper since then. Been trying to investigate what species it is to get it back into shape.
Would go back to where I bought it but quite a distance.
Thanks in advance

I hope that you have not got this inside. It looks like Golden Larch Pseudolarix amabilis it will not like being dry, and you will be lucky not to have caused damage. But you will kill it if you keep it inside

You sure it is not a podocarpus?

I think it could be a Podocarpus Henkelii, google the images, but to me it looks similar. Glad the bonsai is okay though
