Hello!
First: Could you please help me identify the especies of my bonsai?
Second: I think I may have overwatered it, I was told it was a Ficus when I first got it but now im not so sure. I had it indoors, now its outdoors but either way it lost all of its leaves, it has had new little leaves twice but they dry out and never grow bigger. I was told repotting was a bad idea, It's still green on the inside but I don't know what else to do.
Here are some before and after pictures.
Thanks for any help you can give me!!

Put it outside, on a bright spot, no direct sun except for an hour at the start or end of the day (Very low sun only). Water sparingly, so only when the soil is about to dry out. Wait. That is really all you can do. (Some more experienced would repot, but if you do not know what you are doing, you will easily kill it because you do not know what to look for)
