I've had my Ficus for a year now and until recently I've not had any issues with it. In the last week or so it's been losing quite a few leaves which have a strange yellow pattern on them (for some reason I am unable to attach an image). We've recently had a heatwave lasting for about 2 weeks and my top floor flat is like a greenhouse, so I wonder if the heat has just got to it. I guess my questions are:
— Could this be the heat or perhaps it didn't get enough water during the heatwave?
— Could I have overcompensated for the heat and watered it too much?
— It's recently had a lot of new growth, so could this be normal old leaf shedding?
Any comments will be much appreciated.
