Hi there.
I'm brand new here and have limited experience of bonsai but I have begun to buy some nursery plants and plant them in my garden with the idea that they will begin to thicken their trunks and get some nice growth on them so I can make them into bonsai in however many years time...

I was bought some ?1.50 plants from a garden centre recently from a friend and can't identify them. It was a big box hardware store here in the UK and as usual they didn't really go in for the whole labelling of species etc.

I think they are Junipers, maybe blue junipers?! Maybe blue star!? Anyway, I have attached some images. if anyone can help that would be great.
