I recently got a hinoki cyrpreas in the mail and it is a beautiful and healthy plant and I was just looking for some tips or references to help me with the pruning and wiring. Attached are some photos of the new tree and also my other recent project. I grabbed a buffalo juniper from home Depot and made a Cascade style (before and after shots). Comments and concerns would be greatly appreciated

I was wanting to do a formal upright with the cypress, but I am not sure on where to start with this one. The main concern I have is what to do with that top section that is so clustered already.
