Any hope for this Camellia?

I'm a relative newbie to bonsai and very fortunate to have a local good expert in the field who got this Camellia to where it is currently. I bought it (prob stupidly) last Nov (2017) sold as an indoor bonsai in flower. As I expected the flowers fell off within a week of getting it as I kept it indoors in the coldest room of the house purely in the hope of acclimatising it outdoors. So my expert then repotted it in Feb and it eventually was put out in early April although the weather was a bit colder than usual. Anyways my concern for it is that it has only 2 buds and neither of them have shown any sign of growth yet and the older leaves (to me) are now starting to look unhealthy. I've fed it with a weak liquid seaweed feed fortnightly so as not to overstress it.
Anyone any ideas on whether it's not going to do or if it needs a more concentrated feeding regimen etc.
And yes, in case anyone wonders, I could go & ask my expert these qyestions, but as he's super busy helping everyone else with their issues I try not to bother him too much unless I figure he needs to see a tree to fix it.
Thanks

So is no growth for 6 months alright & if so, when is it likely to start regrowth so I can quit worrying about the darned thing I'm sadly one of those who often "fixes things until they break" with the expected results (usually with computers, but I seem to have taken the adage over to bonsai ).
