So um,do y'all think Rosemary is an okay material for bonsai?

Not ideal. Some really nice examples exist.
However, they are iffy when it comes to their roots. And they do not like late year pruning if you have winters with frost.

There's this rosemary plant in my garden that i was planning to replace,cause it was getting too tall,and because i thought it would make a good literati bonsai as the trunk was too tall and had no lower branches.Anyways i live in New Zealand,and we're not known for snowy winters.well,the only thing we get in my place is a really light frost
