Okay so I've been reading about bonsai and I've always been fascinated by it so I got the juniper starter kits from 名媛直播 Empire. It's supposed to be here in a few days and I have no idea how to get it rolling. Am I allowed to immediately begin shaping it or should I wait a year til winter again? I need advice, Thank you!

Hello, welcome!
I guess you are allowed to do whatever you want, it's your tree.
But...
It will be probably a young juniper, so if I were you I would wait at least a season before doing any work, and learn how to keep it alive.
It is more difficult than it seems at first...
Keep it outside.
Keep it in a fast draining bonsai soil mix.
Let it grow and thicken the trunk.
