I bought this Juniper bonsai tree on the side of the road four months ago. He was looking pretty healthy for the first two months, and for the last two months, he's been shedding needles and has pretty much turned brown. At first, he lived inside all the time, not in direct sunlight. Then I realized he needed to be outside, so I put him on the porch, where he gets plenty of direct sunlight. Then I took him inside for awhile because I wasn't sure if he was really supposed to be outside, plus he was looking bad. He stayed on the window sill, and got worse. Just put him back outside a week ago, and he looks even worse. I don't have a good watering schedule for him (sometimes I water him every other day, sometimes I go 4-5 days without watering him). I live in Texas, and the water is very hard here.

I'm starting to wonder if he has disease. Could anyone help me with this?

From the pictures, it looks like your juniper is dead. If you had been keeping it inside that is the reason it died. Juniper, like all trees, do not really belong inside.

This juniper is not suffering from any diseases anymore. It is very dead - and has been dead for weeks.
