Chinese elms do need a lot of light. However morning sunlight on a window sill, preferably facing south, is perfect because of the low intensity. Be aware that during warm months the strong and powerful sunlight can burn the delicate little leaves.

Thanks, the place that I put the elm is full of light and with a lot of sun for 2 hours only at morning so for a few months I thing that point is perfect....
