Hi !
Me and my boyfriend have a little Fukien Tea and i think that it is not feeling so well. When i bought it ,it was all green and full of leaves but its ground was soo dry . So I came home and I have watered it and put it on my table which is near by a big window and the sunshine touches him very diffuse. Maybe i made a mistake when i started to wet it every two-three days, but i was scared that it was neglected before in the store. And after 3 weeks since i've got him, he started lose half of its leaves and i don't know what to do with it because it is very visible that it is not feeling that well. I started moving him around my house to see if i can find another place appropiate for its needs but it didn't work, so i put him back on the table. So what should I do ? Should I change his hotchpotch and his soil ? Or should i start the fertilization? Looking forward for your answer, I'd love if you could help me. Thank you !!

Are you sure of the species? Keeping moving it is not a good idea, If it is Fukien Tea then that is the worse thing to do as they do not like being moved. You must not water to a schedule, check the soil every day and water when needed, that is almost dry. It needs a sunny place where it gets sun most of the day, not over a heat source.

Hey, sorry for the delayed response. When I bought it, it had a little note where was mentioned its species : Carmona microphylla aka Fukien Tea. I changed its pot into a bigger one, but i kept its soil around his roots and i just added only new soil with fertilizer to fill the space around its trunk and the pot. But i see that it is not feeling well, not even now after this change. I don't know what to do, maybe the place where it is situated is not suitable for my little bonsai, but it has a lot of light. Perhabs, should I move it to the room where my boyfriend has his office because it is warmer there, the humidity has a higher range and the light can penetrate the room easily?
