I don't know what type of tree this is. I purchased this tree from a plant store about a year ago. I took it in to have it re-potted during the summer about 3 months ago, and when I got it back all of the leaves had been removed and it has since only had very minimal growth near the base of the tree. Any help that you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

The plant is in a too dark, too warm place. It needs a better leght/temperature balance.
It is a ligustrum. Probably a semi-tropical one.
