I got a ficus brutt davyi nana tree about 2 1/2 feet tall with a trunk and a very narrow trunk (about 1/2 in thick). Ideally I would like to cut some of the height off but I need to know how and when. If I cut it down to 1 foot then it will only have 3 very thin branches with a couple small leaves. Would it survive this? Thanks

Yeah. Just make sure you do this when it is absolutely healthy. O would do this mid-summer, after giving the plant a few months of growing outdoors and litterally shooting with energy. THen you cut and take it out of the sun untill is het resprouted. Don't do this on a sulky ficus.
