Hello! I bought a Chinese Sweet Plum (Sageretia theezans)?about 9 months ago and it has been doing fine but all of a sudden the leaves started to turn black. It has also been dropping a lot more leaves than usually. I've watered it once a day, sometimes every other day, if the soil has looked wet. Even though the leaves are turning black and falling off, the tree keeps growing and it needs trimming(pruning?) quite often. Could I be ower watering it or does this have something to do with winter which is slowly coming here? Would really appreciate if someone could help me out!
