Good Day All

Newbie here

I have received a bonsai tree (or so the person says) as a gift.
Unfortunately he was not sure as to what it could be, guessing it was a Dwarf African Strangler Fig
I would really like to know if it is as above stated tree as i would want to take proper care of it.

Seems unlikely, but it hardly possible to see what it is on this photo. We need a better picture of the foliage.

You know that it is a Ficus what else do you need to know? There is a huge amount needed to be able to think about it as anything but a houseplant
