I’ve had this tree for about 10 years now. No clue what species it is, I just know it keeps growing like crazy and needs to be pruned and trained. Any advice would be appreciated.

This is a ficus benjamina. Odd that you say it has been growing like crazy. I have one which I have had for over 10 years, which we have to trim back by has a metre to a metre each each year.
I would recomment searching for a desicred trunkline, water & fertilize & give plenty of sun to get this to really grow. When is the last time you worked the roots?

So far it’s been under a 300w grow light. Grows about 2 feet a year. Pruned back a bunch today hoping it will encourage more branches to grow lower down. Do you think I should trim more? Not sure when to stop.
