Please tell me how to fix barry bonsai (that's the name my bf and I gave him lol) so we had put him in the backyard where there is afternoon sun but I think its too intense.... I kinda forgot I left him out there and was behind on watering, when I realized 2-3 days ago my bf gave him a good amount of water (he tends to always underwater also) and yesterday I gave him a good soak but today he looks like crap. I tried to get off the brown yellowish leaves and in turn I ended up haking off a few entire little branches. I took him out pot to check root system and I do NOT recall his roots being a redish color. What do I do to try and revive him or in your opinion is he just a goner? Thanks

Why did you fiddle with it so much? There are signs of still good (white tips) feeding roots, but to do so many (wrong) things to such a young juniper...Grownupgreen wrote: I took him out pot to check root system and I do NOT recall his roots being a redish color.
Why do you hate your Barry bonsai?

Whats it doing out if the pot and inside!!!! Get it in a pot and outside. Water it and stop fussing. You may not have killed it if you are lucky
