I've a bonsai tree of the species satsuki azalea (most likely is at least). And when I traveled this summer I left my tree alone for four days (unfortunately with quite a lot I of sun) because I couldn't find anyone to look after it. When I returned home my tree's leaves was all hard and crispy. I removed the crispy leaves in hope that new ones was going to come but so far (about two months later) no leaves. I water my tree like maybe two times a week. The tree seems to drink some water but not as much as before. But some days ago I saw some white/grey soil close to the trunk. Is it mould? And what should I do to prevent it if there is any chance of my tree getting back on track again.
So thankful for any kind of help.
