Hi guys. Been a while since my last post but here I go again.
I just wanted to check with those of you who grow moss on soil of bonsai. I am puzzled how to keep moss alive as the tree needs sun and soil gets dry time to time but in same time moss doesnt tolerate sun and likes constant moisture. So seems one of two should be sacrificed but I know they exist together in many pots. So, where trick is?
Thanks.

Well, I keep the moss in what I call "moss nurseries" and apply it on the pots only from time to time to show the trees.
But...
Trees with thick dense foliage can keep the soil in the shade all the time, and then the moss survives.
