can someone identify this tree please

it came with a note saying it is brachychiton but i didnt find any information about it

I was not going to say that but yes it is nothing to do with bonsai.

Why would you not say it? The reason I do not frequent this forum anymore is because I came here to find inspiring examples of people growing bonsai, but all I find, apart from the occasional posts from the real bonsai amateurs, are house plants and dying sticks.
