I have been given a Sageretia theezans (Sweet Plum) I think, not sure if I have identified the tree correctly. The main problem is the leaves are so dry and crisp, they are not falling off. What is the best way to rectify the leaves.

If th leaves are like that it is probably dead. It is not an easy species at the best of times, has it been watered? Whre has it been kept? If it has been dry for more than a day or so then forget it.

Hi the tree has been like that since i received about a week ago. I have watered it, but it has made no difference. Not sure if it is that tree, but can't find another that looks like it. The leaves haven't fallen off though. Thanks

dead crispy leaves that aren't falling off is not a good sign. More than likely dead.
