Tree dieing was created by Travi51

I have noticed a couple of branches are dieing on my pine, is the hole tree going to die or is there something I can do to help it. It's been fine all summer but we had a big storm last week and I feel it got over watered as it's not in the most ideal substrate, it just started to turn over the last week or so and I'm not sure what I did wrong. The soil is still wet just the very top layer is dry and I don't want to over do it. Any advice or tips would be great.

Your tree is not dying, but branches do die. Rain will not cause it to be overwatered,

I get that but this was a really bad storm, mass flooding, over 3 inches of rain in an hour. My basement was flooded. But anyway, I know branches die but there both dieing at the same time so that's why I was wondering.

I wish I knew. My pine typically do this when I repot. Normally they then die. I have given up on pine untill I find someone who can show me what I do wrong.
