I"m growing a maple bonsai from seed. I was wondering if anyone could help me with out with what I need to get. As well as tips on how to make them grow better and stronger

Growing from seed is a VERY long project. Think, 20+ years as a minimum. Are you sure you want to start off doing this by seed?

I would recomment to -also- get some pre-bonsai trees to work on. That is hard enough as it is.

As for growing things from seed.. What do you have now/ Seedlings? Seeds?

I agree it is a long presses. I myself am growing a maple from seed and it's already almost a foot tall. I did some baby bending to add some movement to it at a young age. One thing I would recommend is that you don't touch it for at least 3 years and put it in a decent sized pot or even the ground to let it grow. After the first 3 years I plan to cut it back. I started mine early this spring and the trunk is already 1/4 inch in size if not smaller so it really needs to fatten up quite a bit more.
