Hi Everyone. I'm new here and new in owning a bonsai too. I purchased about 3 weeks ago a tree from work. Gorgeous Ficus Microcarpa about 150cm tall. I have placed it near a window as it's probably the best light. It has been dropping leaves for a few days now. I understand that a change of place for them are usually a cause for the leaves to fall. I have also tried to stick to the rule of letting the top of the soil to dry and then water it. So know I have no idea if I'm watering not enough or too much.. here are a few photos.. any advice would be much appreciated

Good. What you posted though is not a bonsai.

I would recommend finding a houseplant community and asking them how to care for this plant.

Yes, they can drop leaves when moved from one place to another, this is normal.
Take out the fake moss, the pebbles, water correctly and it will be fine.
This is a house plant, and not a bonsai, as Auk and Leatherback have already said.
