My Fukien Tea seems to be experiencing some difficulties as of late. It's my first bonsai, purchased in April. It had some ups and downs in its adjustment. Recently it was doing well, sprouting new leaves and blooms. Yet, now its leaves are again yellowing and dropping. I'm unsure what's wrong, as there have been no changes care.
●As a tropical bonsai, it has been outside this summer. I've been giving it collected rainwater/distilled water once the top inch of soil completely dry.
●The pot is about five inches across and has a drainage hole. The plant itself is eight inches tall. I also recently added a rock filled moisture tray in an attempt to help the yellowing. It has been a humid summer so I wasn't sure if the tray was needed outside.
●I use liquid Miracle Grow indoor plant food (1:1:1) once weekly after watering.
●It's located on the front porch, receiving constant light but under the awning's shade.
●I have noticed some very small spots on the bottom of yellowing/ soon to be yellowing leaves. I'm not sure if this is a concern or part of how these leaves yellow.
I apologize for the low-quality photos, as phone camera didn't want to cooperate. I'll take new pictures if needed. Any advice is very much appreciated! Feel free to ask any additional questions.

Leave age, and plants drop them. At the moment I see nothing to worry about.

It's still not an issue if it is approximately 5 leaves a day? I know this is a finicky type of tree, yet I could just be over-worrying.

i have a ficus that is outside, that has lost a few leaves as well, but they are almost always the leaves that get little or no direct light... maybe that could be the case with your tree here?
Is the tree growing? Are there any signs of new growth? if yes, I wouldn't worry about it yet.
As far as the moisture tray, I'm not sure it wil have any effect outside..

Perhaps. There was only three lost leaves today and there is sprouting leaves. It is still trying to bloom but I cut those away to help it save energy. I'll take the tray back for when it comes indoors.

I have a couple of Fukiens, and every time I move them to a different spot, they drop some leaves and grow a bunch of new ones. The tree in the photo looks pretty healthy, and if it keeps trying to bloom, it's doing well. I would slow down on the fertilizer through the summer and keep that metal pot from getting too hot. Other than that, I don't see anything to worry about either.
