I had ordered a ficus bonsai and i received it today.i dont find the shape proper.i wanted to grow a a branch on the right side ,but when i turned it i found a healed cut there.i want to grow a branch from the same cut.if anyone knows the way,please suggest.

You could try thread grafting.
First however, I would focus on keeping this plant happy and healthy for several months. Aftrer that, you can try your hand at some of the techniques.

If a ficus is healthy and strong, in mid-summer, removing all growing tips & leaves will also help with new branches.
