Hello,
I have been working on my trident for a few days now and I have come to a conclusion that I need to cut off a part of the trunk, my question is can i do it now or should I wait till next spring? Any help is amazing thank you.

You can do it now. Just keep in mind: With the trunk you will probably remove foliage, which will allow the sun to hit the trunk directly, which may lead to sunburn: Keep it out of full midday sun for a bit if it is really open.

Sounds great, could petroleum jelly work as a cut paste?
