Hi everyone,
Would anyone be able to give me a spot of advice?
My 7 year old Chinese Elm has just lost the majority of his leaves, which has never really happened in the 3 and a half years I've owned him. The leaves were green but very dry and crunchy, I fear this is because lack of water (my job has been crazy the past few weeks) and the recent hot spell. I really love the little guy and fear he may be dying.
Any advice or insights anyone can offer me would be greatly appreciated.

It would be a lot better if there were pics of the tree, remember that bonsai are trees in pots and are totally dependent on us for everything, they can't just take a vaca, so with that being said water and nutrition need to be a every day thing. If you think it's laking water then it probably is and it's also the cause of your trees demise. My job is also very demanding and I have a lot more than one tree so I make sure to spend time with every tree looking it over every day to insure it's doing ok. It's become a rutean.
