Should I trim the roots and repot or leave in the same smart pot that it is now? I appreciate your looks

most spruces are difficult because of their growth patterns... new shoots almost always grow upwards, it is difficult to develop foliage pads, and the trees tend to lose needles quickly and close to the trunk.
