Beautiful tree.
You say it is sick. Could you please explain what is wrong with the tree?

It's not growing well, it turned purple beginning of autumn (which isn't normal for this species). Topside only, bottom side is green, probably caused by cold/wind, so it probably cannot supply enough to the foliage, which indicates a root problem, which may be caused by the soil it is in - Akadama that has fallen apart. As advised by the experts at the club, I did not repot - which I now regret. I will repot this year and hope for the best. Under the snow it is not looking good.
