We know it is not easy to get Baobab cuttings to actually develop roots. I am quite happy with my trunk cutting from my big Baobab as it starts to show new sprouts almost everywhere after I've done the cutting about 4 weeks ago.

Being in America I have never heard of that tree. They are insane looking. Kudos on the successful cutting. I have tried starting some from cuttings this past Spring/Summer but only got one to stay alive (until I moved it out into the sun way too soon). Just part of the learning process.

Baobab is a Adansonia digitata.
This cutting is standing in ful sun as that is what they require to flourish.
