HELLO,
I AM LOOKING TO GROW TREES THAT MOST PEOPLE WOULD NOT REALLY CHOOSE FOR BONSAI
SUCH AS "THE" HONEY LOCUST ! I'M IN NW VA. AND I HAVE FOUND THIS TREE TOTALLY OUT OF THE ORDINARY
HINTS THAT IT MUST BE BONSAIED (IS THAT EVEN A WORD?)
I HAVE COME ACROSS A PROBLEM IN THIS JOURNEY !
I CAN ONLY FIND SIMPLE, DUHH-HUHH INFORMATION ON THESE TREES. (I GUESS IM ASKING IF ANYONE KNOWS ANYTHING)
I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE SOME IDEAS OF TREES YOU WOULD FIND ODD, OR RARE, THINK OUTSIDE THE POT HERE !
I HAVEN'T BEEN SUCCESSFUL GROWING ANYTHING OTHER THAN DWARF SCHEFFLERA, OR MING ARALIA, "HOUSE PLANTS"
BUT I THINK I SHOULD START FROM SEEDS..... WHATCHA THINK?
WOULD LOVE TO HEAR SOME IDEAS.

Please dont shout.
Pick tree without extremely large leaves and thorns. This will probably never look realistic.

There's a reason why some trees are not used for bonsai so trying 'unusual' species probably isn't a great idea. However, trying unusual species without any knowledge of bonsai is definitely not a good idea.

Mr. Leatherback,
Much apologies!!!
My O.C.D. has me thinking that i misspell words in lowercase. ??? I honestly cant think of a better way to describe that.... i am sorry !
Ok, this is purely out of "botanical ignorance ". But I would think that sence bonsai
does cause a tree to "miniaturize" so to speak. Wouldn't the thorns do the same? Kind of like a Brazilian rainforest tree. But non-tropical. Hell, I dont know, im going to give it a try regardless. It's purely experimentation in every aspect of learning this tree.
You mentioned large leafs, are you meaning the entire leaf, or the individual leaflets. Honestly the whole leaf is not as big as ya think. But there is like 20 or so leaflets. Now that i said that , you think thats why ya dont see as many weeping willow bonsai? There leafs grow sort of strange from the branch ...... if im even describing that correctly...... any who, I appreciate you listening!

名媛直播 does not cause a tree to miniaturize. It is the artist that creates an impression of a tree in nature, from material that's suitable for it.
Your plant is not so suitable.
