Well... that's what a great deal of posts on this forum start with, usually accompanied by picture of a mallsai, a very young juniper cutting, a dying plant or a ficus 'ginseng'.
Usually, these people, who are new to the world of bonsai, reply once or twice, and never return. Usually that's the moment they realize they didn't enter the world of bonsai, but purchased a mass product that's identical to all the pictures we've seen already.
Only very few people really get into the art, start learning, and really start to try and grow bonsai.
Care guidelines for your plant can be found on this website, under the species guide.

I hope you are not like the others. If you've bought books and joined the forum to learn, that's great.

Yes, i've learned a lot in recent. My experience with live plants was none or almost none but i have read books, forums, youtube etc to learn more and more. What books do you recommend? I'm thinking about growing a bonsai from the seed, or should wait another year trying to keep what i have alive?
Thanks, this topic is a small apresentation so, sorry for the bad starting..

I'd have to go through my collection, but I don't read many books, to be honest. There's a lot to be found by Googling, or by looking for movies on Youtube.
I would always recommend an outdoor tree, fit for the climate that you're in.

Don't try and grow bonsai from seed. It takes (for most species) at least 15 years before you have something you can work with, assuming you want to grow a decent bonsai. It can take even longer for slower growing species, Get good starter material. It's not a bad idea to grow from seed simultaneously, but do understand that will be for the (very) long term.

That certainly is a good idea. As bonsai, it isn't great, but you will need to learn to grow trees in a confined space.
Start looking for examples, there's a lot you need to learn. There's a lot of information on this website, and some interesting courses.

What you have there is not bad as a starter. You can actually build that into a decent tree.
Study the Broom bonsai style . That is the direction I would consider with the plant you have. I think it is a ligustrum spp. from when I can see. Make sure you do not keep the plant too wet; The soil needs to get slightly dry (But do not let it dry out completely!). Put it in a very bright spot. Water when the soil is dryish. I prefer to use lukewarm water for plants indoors, as it wets the soil more easily than cold. Eventually people will tell you to change the soil. Read up on soils and you will get some idea why.
Read, learn, ask questions and .. Have fun!

Do you have a balcony? If you don't have any space of outdoors, I'm not sure you can be succsesful in the long run
