My water source in Scotland is from a reservoir in the hills and i found out the water is soft.

I have been told from two different sources that one says, its fine to use soft water and the other says its bad and i should use another better source.

Anyone?

I wish I had your source. Hell, I even wish I had hills!

Oh... it's tap water... bit silly that I didn't notice.
Don't worry about the acidity, you'll be fine.
