Hello everyone just joined and would like to tell you how excited i am to see this forum. Im in northern California in Mount Shasta around 4000ft elevation surrounded by pine and evergreens and started bonsai 2yrs ago , but ive been gardening all my life ( im 52) my momma had me in the dirt before i could walk , over the years ive killed a many a plant and my motto has always been " You Gotta Kill Em To Learn How To Grow Em" while i t dont happen as much anymore i still manage to have my share when i acquire new types that i have never grown , and now as a transplant from tennessee i have a whole list of new trees and plants that i cant wait for trial and error .....no wait who am i kidding im gonna bounce some names off you guys , my momma didnt raise no fool , so for what its worth i just wanted to say hey
