I don't know exactly what your after or if it's helpful at all but for websites like this with a home page I like to set the page I want as a button on my home screen so I don't have to type anything or click around, just one click from the home screen and I'm at the forum index.
Which for iPhone you just press the send to button when your on the page you want and click set to home screen.
