What's your climate? Do you have a garden? What's your budget?
Have you learnt the difference between mallsai and bonsai yet?

If you mentioned the indoor temperature because you want to grow bonsai indoors: sorry, I cannot help you with that, I don't do indoor bonsai.
If you can tell me your location/region, I can figure out what your local climate is like, and try to recommend trees based on that.
A mallsai is a relatively cheap, mass-produced tree, that does not have a high quality as a bonsai, and that cannot easily be trained into becoming a good bonsai.
Question is what it is that you want - really learn to grow bonsai, or start with something simple to learn how to take care of small trees and to keep them alive.

Lock wrote: Thanks for explaining that for me. I want a indoor tree for my son. Later doing the year I will get an outdoor bonsai.
In that case I'd go for the Ficus (a real one, not the one with the big fat ugly roots)
