I desided recently to start a bonsai forest with all the Acacia burkei trees I've got.

After getting a few more Acacia burkei bonsai trees I finally finished my forest.

Not bad at all, I wonder what they will look like when they have foliage. Do post an update!
I think the trees could have been a bit closer together. The three on the right could have moved a bit to the left, creating some more distande from the rim of the pot.

The trees must first settles then I will start wiring and pruning.

I agree with Auk; not bad.
I would have arranged the trees differently, personally, so that the taller ones were in the middle and they slowly got shorter the further out they were.
Still, it looks good.

This is the progress on the trees. The tree on the right only started to bud a week ago, the last tree got extremely small buds developing this morning

I need to do some pruning on this forest but I need gto wait till the foliage is full on the whole forest.

I buy a bonsai soil mix with a combination of fine pine bark, dolomite crush and perlite. Benefits are: free draining mix, correct pH, dolomite crush creates fine root growth.
