just got my first 2 bonsai trees yesterday.a chinese elm and a fukientee i have a problem the pot holding the fukientee was broken. i have ordered clay but it will be days before it arrives.any help would be appreciated .john d

i must say you lot are a great help. do you think i just came to this stupid forum without trying everything else.as for the new pot broken pot = no clay no clay = no roots no roots = dead tree.to think i came here for advice .you shower should be on stage comedians ,,, ,,,

Maybe you should explain a bit better what you are trying to ask. I do not understand why you are ordering clay. You cannot repair a pt. Just get a new pot. No need to start calling names here, if you are unable to post a question.

Everyone knows I'm not the most subtle person on this forum, but in this case I was just trying to understand why you ordered clay. Pots are made of clay, so it seems you ordered clay to repair it.

However, could it maybe so that you meant soil? Pot = broken, soil fell out, you need new soil?

Sorry, but if you want clear answers, you do need to answer clear questions.
