I am writing this to ask a kind of philosophical question. What do you consider bonsai.
As those of you that have true, high experience in this subject, i would happily hear your opinions and answers. I mean, some people think that bonsai is purely an artform, some say it is just a pure horticultural learning method. Some say it is both some say it is purely a subject in which you jut learn things morally. I am asking you what you think of this wonderful subject and what it is to you.
Thank you

It's a hobby. Challenging and rewarding, often frustrating. Occasionally relaxing. And it keeps me out of the pub

Thanks!
It is definitely rewarding yet challenging, but where is the fun in no challenge? I think it is like any other art like painting or drawing but with a nice twist. Thank you for the response . I hink it does teach us rather a lot, but subtly.
