How I would love to walk around that nursery and be allowed to purchase just, which I could pick myself. There ARE very nice trees to be found in such masses.

Hell yeah - well, not the Ginsengs, but yep, that would be cool. There will always be a few that have a mind of their own and develop into something useful. I know in fact that a certain bonsai shop in the Netherlands works that way.
They import lots of these trees (not ginsengs), then select the best ones - that they will sell for a higher price than the rest.
