Over christmas I gave my bonsai workshed an update, with a few backdrops and better light, insulation & a finished roof. So I thought I'd try my hands at creating some videos. The first of which I put online. Would be happy to hear what you think, how to improve etcetc.

Very cool LB. It's a nice tree with some backstory, you made it look easy.
I tell you how to improve... Make more of those, hahahha.
Congratulations.

I think you are doing good.
The only thing I think would improve is to put the music over the whole vid instead of just over only one clip. Those silet parts is a bit avkward. And off cource I would like longer vids

Nice video. Yes, you did make it look easy.
Interesting idea to prop it up while wiring. Is that so you can be sure it is how you want it styled, prior to repot? Make changes if necessary?
Good job. Thanks for sharing.

Thx Remy.
The putting it at an angle is because that is the angle at which it will be in the pot. If you do not prop the pot in the right angle when styling, it is very hard to get the angle of the branches. Our head is very good at judging angles against the horizontal or vertical. But to, in your mind, tilt the tree and then decide what the right angle of the branches for styling is, is very hard.
This is why you can buy these worktables that you can tilt, and on top of which you can tie the pot..
Tilting the pot when looking for a design is the Nr 1 eye-opener I experiences when I first started working bonsai. THe position in the pot is not fixed. (But check the roots to ensure you have 1) the optimal front, and 2) a trunk angle that gives you a decent nebari

it's true that with a little background music would be more pleasant, I like this layout, I guess it's a grove, I can see it on a slate
