Hello I have just purchased a Tokiwa gaki persimmon and live in zone 7a. What would be the best for winter protection and winter storage for this shohin persimmon as it is an evergreen so I’m thinking more tropical. I usually mulch my smaller trees in my growing bed and the rest under my benches. Not sure how this persimmon will do in frost. Thank you

This is a good approach, but if they really don't stand frost, an unheated garage will do.
