My Poor Japanese Maple Tree!

I left my 10 year old japanese maple with a friend for a few days and this is what happen. I let it suck up water from the bottom in hope's that it is still alive deep down.

Not seeing anything.
Just do NOT keep it wet. You want the soil to be just moist. Wet is bad as if it dried out, the roots may need to make new growing tips, which they do best in slightly moist well airated substrate. Soaking wet not so much.

I would Take most of the injured leaves of and keep the soil humid. This is not a lost case.
