This is an African tree, the Black Ebony tree. Yes, it can be a bonsai, but it is very difficult to find one.

It is. Im asking as i have some seeds. Im trying to germinate using the bag method. There could be an easier and better option, as in higher germination rate.

The guy i got them from collected the seeds himself. He lives in south africa but travels to Denmark often. So im very confident that its the real deal.
