When buds start to grow on old wood, even being in a crotch, I always find it amazing, specially in Autumn.

Backbudding is nice, but what are you gonna do with the bud that is growing at the place where 2 branches have already been removed and it still looks a bit crowded? Just asking

In fact this is a clump style quince bonsai, and there is no problem with the chaotic growing branches. As there is a dead branch already at the same direction, I am going to prune the dead one and wire the new shoot in place. I will show it here when it's done.
